With climate change, flooding and erosion from an uncompromising ocean is slowly threatening urbanized shorelines. In 2017 and 2018, Buoyant Ecologies academic researchers coordinated a studio effort to design adaptive infrastructural strategies in the Maldives that speculates on how to address this growing international reality.
